Tennis elbow treatment in Hull
Assessment and progressive rehabilitation for outer elbow pain that is aggravated by gripping, lifting, wrist movement, work or sport.
THE RESOLVE STANDARD
Assessment first
Tennis elbow commonly causes pain around the outside of the elbow and can be aggravated by gripping, lifting or repeated wrist and forearm activity. Other elbow, neck or nerve problems can produce similar symptoms.
Treatment usually combines appropriate activity modification with progressive wrist and forearm exercise. Persistent symptoms may justify review of other options, but an injection or procedure is not an automatic first step.

Your pathway
We assess the elbow, forearm and relevant neck or nerve features.
Work, gripping and activity are adjusted to reduce repeated aggravation.
Progressive wrist, forearm and upper-limb exercise develops capacity.
The plan progresses toward your work, daily activity or sporting demands.
Honest, evidence-informed care
NHS guidance recommends reducing aggravating activity and using exercise, with physiotherapy considered when symptoms persist. We use procedures selectively and do not present them as a routine cure.
Common questions
Persistent lateral elbow pain is usually managed as a tendon-related problem rather than assumed to be ongoing inflammation alone.
A strap or brace can help some people during aggravating tasks, but it does not replace progressive rehabilitation.
It may be discussed for selected persistent tendon pain after the diagnosis, previous care and suitability have been reviewed.
